Pam Blumenthal's Kennel, Glyndebourne German Shepherds, is arguably the
smallest in South Africa.

Her objective is to breed top quality, rather than quantity, even though the
majority of owners want only a healthy pet and guard dog with a high
intelligence and reliable temperament.

But, for Pam, each and every puppy is bred to a standard that, hopefully, at
full maturity, can also be a top-producer - this in order to improve the
quality of the Breed, in general, in South Africa.

2003 was a watershed in the history of Glyndebourne German Shepherds.

Both the Bronze and Silver Breeder's Medals were awarded to Pam at the
Awards Ceremony after Nationals, as well as a Trophy for Brittany of
Glyndebourne for her placing as 9th on the list of the Top-Producing Brood
Bitches in South Africa.

Then, at the Prizegiving at the Phoenix Club, where Pam is also an
instructor in Puppy Socialisation and Obedience Training, Jewel of
Glyndebourne, a Brittany Daughter, carried off two Trophies, one for Top
Show Bitch, the other for Top Show and Working Bitch.

Pam attributes her success to her Foundation Bitch, Tarasans Emoyeni, and to
the invaluable advice and assistance of her Breed Supervisor, Dee Tarr of
Tarasans German Shepherds.

Jewel is with Dee and Spencer Tarr in partnership with Pam. Isla of
Glyndebourne is also with Dee and is also producing the quality that is
Pam's Dream.

ONLY THE BEST WILL DO

Puppies are born under Pam's supervision in a whelping box - custom-built by an Austrian master craftsman. Every aspect of each puppy's development is monitored. They are socialized at an early age and have contact with other Glyndebourne dogs. Potential owners are interviewed and each and every pup is affectionate, friendly and confident when the time comes for re-homing.

Puppies are de-wormed, inoculated and tattooed, and are registered with the German Shepherd Dog Federation of South Africa.

Brood bitches have perfect hips and every possible precaution is taken to avoid the possibility of genetic defects.
