First Litter

Imoya Devon Rex Cattery - Pretoria, South Africa

Jozefina's first litter of 2 girls were born on 22 December 2002.

We were concerned about the smaller one of the two kittens for the first week due to her VERY little birth weight of 45g. We supplemented for the first 48 hours, but thereafter she was on her own.

Seven days

Jozefina was mated to EliCatz Meastro and produced twin girls on 22 Dec 2002. 

Their eyes opened on the 7th day. 

Three weeks later

The weight difference between the two sisters is very evident at this age.  

Named Azucena and Adalgisa the two have now formed their own personalities. 

Azucena - 250g 

The bigger of the two sisters, Azucena is called "Monster Baby" around the house. 
She is placid and content. Type wise, she has a beautiful coat, well placed ears, well defined muzzle and a very good "stop".

Adalgisa - 150 g

Considerably smaller than Azucena, Adalgisa is a lot more vocal and makes no bones about making her wishes known to her mother and everybody that wants to listen. 
"Bietjie Baby" hasn't got her sisters lush coat, but her type otherwise is just as good.
